Johnnie Walker® always encourages people to stay in control, including joining
the pact to never drink and drive (www.jointhepact.com). Tell us in 250 words or
less why responsible drinking is important to you, and what you think would
effectively get others to take the message seriously.
It's important to me because too much alchohol is bad for your body. Just like there is no specific formula for problem drinking, there is no formula for a responsible drinker. However, simply being aware of your drinking behaviors and patterns can give you a better idea on how responsible you are in regard to your drinking.
Once you know how much you are drinking, it is important to keep the quantity of your drinking to a limited number per day and per week.
Low-risk drinking is not the same as ‘no-risk’ drinking. You can still have negative consequences while staying within the low-risk limits, especially if you drink quickly, have health problems, or you are older.
The quantity of what you are drinking is not the only important factor to consider. Why you are drinking also is important. If you are using alcohol to relax, have fun, be more confident, be more social, as a reward, or as an escape, you may be abusing alcohol. Alcohol should not be the reason why you do something. It is more the compliment to a situation rather than the focus.
Word of mouth advertising (WOM) is the unpaid spread of a positive marketing message from person to person. It can take place directly using the human voice, or can be transmitted via any communicative means such as through the internet or via text message. WOM is a powerful promotional tool and should be considered as part of almost every business marketing strategy. The least powerful WOM message is neutral – these tend not to travel very far and are not strong influencing factors.
Word of mouth is difficult to control and measure but can spread quickly and be highly influential in purchase decisions, Think about the last film you went to see, the last car you bought or the area you live in. Chances are you arrived at those choices due to a personal recommendation from a friend or trusted acquaintance.
